Virginia Wagner Evans
Donald - I know we just talked recently in my store about your wife and all that you had been facing over the past months. Please know that my husband and I have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers and will continue to do so in the days ahead. It was always a delight to talk with you both when you came in to the peanut store. We've always enjoyed talking about the good 'ol days and our dads working so hard. Again, please know that we are praying for you all.

Don, I was deeply saddened by Virginia's passing and pray for God's help to you in bearing your loss. I have many fond memories of cousin Virginia, from years ago when we were both children living with Grandmother and Aunt Lillian when my dad was away during the war, and continuing with visits over the years while we each grew up, married and had families of our own. My wife Barbara recalls Virginia's kindness, while we lived overseas, in providing a place for our daughter Suzanne to stay during breaks at Randolph-Macon. Virginia was a very special person, smiling and outgoing and cheerful and helpful. She made for her friends a better world. When I think of her, I will smile.

To the Family, I was privileged to sing with the Va Choral Society from 1982 to 1996. It was during that time that I met Virginia. I found her to be a wonderfully friendly person with whom I had many conversations. My wife, Pam, and I offer our condolences for your loss. Everyone who knew Virginia will suffer the loss of such a lovely lady that she was. Calvin and Pam Geiss

Virginia is one of the first people I met when I joined the Virginia Choral Society. We had a "hometown" connection and we enjoyed remembering folks we both knew. She was a quiet, warm and friendly presence and I looked forward to her smile. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

I had the pleasure of knowing Virginia while I attended WUCC in the 1990's. She was a treasure to the choir and the congregation, and will be sadly missed.

Dear Donald and Family, We want you to know you are in our prayers. Virginia Mae was the best cousin one could ever have. We enjoyed many fun times growing up together. She was always so cheerful and thoughtful and continued that way her through her life. Both Tami and I enjoyed visiting with her at a Wagner reunion a few years ago. God Bless, Jim and Tami
