Alma Jean Kerner

Alma Jean Kerner, 82, of Ahoskie, NC passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021. She was the daughter of the late William and Addie Mae Bateman. Alma is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kerner and son, William E. Griffin.

Alma worked for Pinners Florist for many years and will be missed.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth A. Griffin (Pammy), Tim W. Griffin (Peggy), and Joseph F. Griffin, III (Donna); brother, C.A. Bateman (Sara); sisters, Joanne Graham (Tom), Jane Byrum, Maurine Spears (Tim), and Tina Rivera (Floyd); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery officiated by Pastor Keith Wynder. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral and Crematory Suffolk, VA is serving the family. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
