Angelia Frazier Garrett

Angelia Frazier Garrett, 82, a resident of Smithfield, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Born October 15, 1936 in Asheboro, NC, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Mattie Hines Frazier. She was a graduate of Richard J. Reynolds High School in Winston Salem, NC and retired from Wesley Community Service Center in Portsmouth, VA. Angelia was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Smithfield and was very active with the United Methodist Women’s Assembly. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Dulan H. Garrett.

Left to cherish her memory is her stepson, Wayne Garrett and his wife, Martha; grandsons, W.D. Garrett and Bill Garrett; great-grandson, Will Garrett and longtime friends William and Ruth Nagle.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, 13680 Bethany Church Rd. Smithfield, VA 23430. Cemetery. Condolences may be posted at www.rwbakerfh.com.
