Ann D. Smith

Ann D. Smith, 91, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at home. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Annie Duncan and her sister, Delores Crispen and son-in-law, Sammy Cowan.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and enjoyed her time in the home that they built in Windsor. Her wish was to be at home when she passed away and her family was able to honor her request.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 72 years, Robert L. Smith; son, Bill Smith (Jeannette); daughter, Cynthia Cowan; grandchildren, Bill Jr., Lindsey and Jerry and two great grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Newman Memorial Cemetery at Oakland Christian Church, Chuckatuck, VA. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakland Christian Church PO Box 2008 Suffolk VA 23434.R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel is serving the family.
