George Leonard Perkins

George Leonard Perkins, a resident of Ivor, Virginia for the last 35 years passed away on September 1, 2022. He was the son of the late Leonard and Lillian Marie Hutton Perkins. He was predeceased by a brother, Billy Perkins, and sister-in-law Rosie.  

George was born in Norfolk, Virginia on December 17, 1946, and a graduate of Granby High School. He loved to hunt, enjoyed caring for his hunting dogs and sitting with his best buddy “Patches” the cat. George was a hard worker at E. Caligari & Son, Inc. for 33 years.  

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Nancy Wyman Perkins; sons, James Perkins (Jessica) and Jason Perkins; grandchildren, McKenzie Perkins, Hannah Perkins, Paul Perkins, Katie Perkins, Eli Henry, and Madison Perkins; siblings, Nancy Tenney (John) and Jack Perkins (Pat).
