James Arnold Wiele

James A. Wiele, 80, of Suffolk, Va passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021. He was the son of the late Arnold and Alice Wiele. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Diane Wiele.

James was a retired Master Sergeant in the US Marine Corps. He worked civil service at Norfolk Naval Station and was an Electrician by trade. James was a kind and loving husband and dad; and will be missed by so many. Hoorah!

He is survived by his children, Debra Lail Thornburgh, Jeffrey Reid, and Cynthia Fregoe and her husband David. Grandchildren, Damion Olson and wife, Jamie, Dustin Olson and his wife Amber, Adelle Fregoe, and Caitlin Fregoe. Great grandchildren, Marcus Olson, Kadien Olson, Chase Olson, Blake Olson, Mia Olson, and Preston Olson and brother, Randall Wiele.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at R.W. Baker & Co Funeral Home and Crematory, Suffolk, VA officiated by Pastor Erik Feig with a visitation held an hour prior. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, Va. Condolences may be registered online at RWBakerFH.com.
