Janis C. Ewing

Janis Cobb Ewing, of Chesapeake, VA, died on July 16, 2020 at the age of 73.

Janis will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Amy; son-in-law, Bud; grandchildren, Camryn and Rylee; brother, Kenton; and Kenton’s family, Marion, Johanna, Jeff, Celisa, Cy and Selah.

Against the odds, her determination and desire to be with family allowed her to be part of our lives for much longer than she was told would be medically possible.  Her strength was an inspiration to us all.

Due to Covid-19 and in the interest of safety for all our friends and family, we will not be having a formal service at this time.  We will be honoring her wish to have a gathering to celebrate her life and enjoy “all the foods she couldn’t eat”.
