All my life my grandfather was the epicenter of our family. A man who worked tirelessly to provide and be an example of what good and decent was and is. Even from a distance, he provided guidance and reassurance. He showed us all what was possible if we believe and work hard enough. I hope that one day I will be able to say I made him proud and that I added to the legacy he has left behind. Jared

He was a great man, father, and friend to our family. He will surely be missed by all. A lot of great memories were shared with our family

I worked with JP at STC for 18 years, and learned the contracts business from both him and Ed Bimler. We worked side-by-side in the same office for many of those years. He was an absolute joy and a treasure to work with. A very smart man, and a gentleman. Sometimes Id get an intentional attitude with him, and hed always respond by pointing his finger at me sayIng Hey look... I knew I was in for the fatherly lecture at that point. So many funny and happy moments during those years. A bright star has gone out and the world and universe just got a little dimmer.

Your father was the most genuine, friendly, and fun person I have ever met. He was such a wonderful person to work with, and he was also my mentor, the best. He was the kindest person with a BIG heart and a great sense of humor. He shared and taught me many aspects of work because of his wealth of knowledge and working expertise. Sharing, working with, and knowing him was a great pleasure because he always made us smile and laugh. We are very saddened to hear of his passing, but he is now with his beloved wife and a son. His legacy will be in your heart as well as ours forever. He will truly be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Maggie and Jimmy Bevelacqua

I just learned of Julien's passing as even though he was my neighbor just across the street, I had not seen him in a long time and had no idea he was 94 years old! He was a true gentleman just as Sharon was such a kind woman. He will be missed and my prayers are with the family as you go through this tough time. Billy Chorey

Your father was such a wonderful friend to our parents. He gave our father rides to Jolly Boys during the last several years when our father stopped driving. Julien was always thoughtful and caring. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. We send our love and sympathy to the Picot family.

Your Dad had such a wonderful heart and great sense of humor. I recall him visiting my parents when they were in assisted living and it was so comforting to know he was staying in touch as their lives were changing. He always spoke of how much he missed your mother. Prayers for peace and comfort and love to all the family.

Hadn't seen Julien in many years, but he and his dad and Eulah were my next door neighbors on Linden Avenue when I was born (1942). They were a great family, and Julien was a good citizen and example. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Mr. Picot was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. I met him while I was a CNA at Lake Prince Woods. I could sit and talk to him for hours, if my schedule allowed me to, he was a genuinely nice person, who could make anyone smile. I am saddened to hear of his passing, he will truly be missed. My condolences for the family during this time of loss.
