Karlyn P. Kopriver

Karlyn P. Kopriver, 80, resident of Suffolk for 14 years, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2021.

She was born on September 27, 1940 in San Jacinto, California. She was an Art Therapy Professor at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She was also a Domestic Violence Counselor in Hampton, VA at Transitions, Inc.

Karlyn is survived by her husband of 34 years, Frank Kopriver III; sons, Jim Norum, of Winchester, Va and Keith Norum of Suwa, Japan; and four grandchildren.

I'm so sorry to hear this, just now. Karlyn was my art therapy advisor at Ohio University. I have many fond memories of her and she was an inspirationin so many ways. I'm so sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss, Karlyn was such a wonderful woman, with a great sense of humor. I truly enjoyed working with her at Transitions.
