Margaret Jean Henley
Margaret Jean Henley was born January 4, 1942 in Abbeville, Alabama to Katherine Tucker-Bradshaw and Randolph Russell. She moved to New York City with her mother where she met her ex-husband, Alan W. Henley.
They were married for over 25 years and through their union, they had four beloved children whom she leaves behind: Michael Henley, Cheryl Etheridge, Kevin Henley and Stacie Henley-Ashby. She also leaves behind two sons-in-laws: Donald Ashby and Tervis Etheridge.
She was an excellent housewife and an excellent cook. She loved to sing and had an amazing voice. As her children became older, she then decided to work outside of the home. Her favorite job was at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York as a Dietary Aide.
Margaret leaves behind her beloved brothers and sisters: James Russell, Robert Bradshaw, David Bradshaw, Kathryn Beamon, Ruby Chattman, Deborah Livermore and Renee Bradshaw; sisters-in-law, Debra Russell, Gwen Bradshaw and Rubbie Bradshaw.
She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and in laws: Shantay and Shannon Burrus, Donald Ashby, Diamond and Marcus Williams, Donisha Ashby, Anessa Etheridge, Naiyhani Etheridge and Maia Henley. She also had nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
