My Daddy ..you helped make me the man I am today. You inspired me. YOU showed me how to press on and try to be positive no matter what, to look at the bright side. You encouraged me to be my own boss as we set out at the same time and did just that, and we did it together and I am forever grateful. Daddy YOU ARE my HERO!!! . I love you daddy, miss you already . You fought cancer so hard,... so proud of you. Your Son, Paul

Boots i will always remember you, I always looked up to you as a father figure when mine wasnt there, You were the coolest soccer coach ever,in fact i think of you every time my son plays soccer. You were the most patient with me learning how to ride yz80 motorcycles lol ,and the best fishing instructor i ever had at the James River, even riding in that hot ass maverick with no AC .I can only imagine all the lives you've positively impacted over the years ,as you did mine . You will truly be missed my friend.

There are no words to make this easier. Cancer is so ugly. One can only take comfort in the fact that he suffers no more. We will always remember the fun times we had together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love.

Rita and family, I extend my heartfelt condolences to you on Boots's passing. I have such fond memories of you all from our days on St. James Avenue. Later, when Nita and I were older, Rita, you always welcomed us into your home when we made our bike rides over to Linden Avenue. Such wonderful memories! May the good memories you have of Boots sustain you in the difficult days and weeks ahead. With much love, Lee
